Not too keen on the orthopedic looking sole but I like the Wallabee style combined with the cushiony high-top. Would totally wear the black as it puts the focus more on the shape.

Navy Suede

I've developed a bit of a thing for navy suede. Not sure what it is. It has an awkward in between-ness about it. I think of navy as quite a refined, slick colour. It's a colour commonly found in things like suits and cars. Suede on the other hand is rough, usually in earthy tones and used on workwear. It's used well in these examples combined with brown and used for boots.

Christian Dior s/s 10 Sandals

OK. I'm back in business. There are many shoes I want to post on here that I can't get really good images of, and so I wait. The wedge sandals from Christian Dior s/s 10 are such shoes... until now. I loved the 1920's gangster theme of the show (or more the now take on the early 90's take on 1920's gangsters - think Madonna in Dick Tracey.) Anyway the shoes are cool - especially with those sparkly socks. Love the heel and wedge thing. It's almost as though the wedge grew under the shoe after it was made.
