Nicholas Kirkwood for Rodarte s/s 11

Nicholas Kirkwood and Rodarte don't usually strike this much of a chord with me but I really liked this whole collection. Very structured, eclectic and exotic, it had a bit of a Dries van Noten crossed with Alexander McQueen vibe to it. I want a blue and white Chinese porcelain vase.

Nicholas Kirkwood's designs are usually too strappy and swirly and colourful for my personal taste (let me finish) but that is not to say that the man isn't a GENIUS. His designs conjure up a level of lust in women that no man can, and his trademark heel and platform shapes are both individual and versatile.
