More chunky soled boots. This time from Dior Homme featuring brogueing and some nice trim.

Dior Homme 10 Classics Footwear

These had escaped my attention. The footwear from the "10 Classics" range by Dior Homme is - as the name suggests - classic and simple, however there are some twists in the shape and stitching of the quarters.

Dior Homme B&W Belted Sneakers

These sneakers featuring a thinner strap and contasting tones & textures are from the later Slimane days.

Dior Homme f/w 10 Belted Boots

I featured this collection a little while ago here, but I'm using this belted idea on some shoes I'm working on, so I wanted a few closer looks at them. Damn, I love them so much.

Dior Homme Detachable Canvas Lined Sandals

Chelsea Boots

A good mod-style, cuban heeled, chelsea boot is a beautiful thing, and these are some fine examples from Yves Saint Laurent (big image), Acne (bottom left), & Dior Homme (bottom right.)

I am in awe. Kris Van Assche is one of my favorite designers and at Dior Homme he seems to find a painfully beautiful balance between being modern and edgy and classically stylish.

Contrast Rand

So simple yet very effective. A light rand lifts the shoe and gives it a glow (I sound like I'm selling face cream.) On the Dior Homme boots it gives the sole a layered look and at Jil Sander it gives a simple shoe an interesting edge (literally.)

Dior Homme s/s 10 High Top Sneakers

Just a few days ago I posted some of the shoes from Kris Van Assche's s/s 10 range. As creative director at Dior Homme he has carried on the super-laced idea (which I can't get enough of it seems) to these high top sneakers. Deciding which I like more is making steam come out of my ears.
