Burberry showed rather refined and minimal uppers contrasting with thick Dr. Martens style rubber soles - which is a good thing because it rained. I think the use of this work-boot sole on a sneaker works very well, as is it unusual but quite fitting in its casualness.
My previous Burberry post was me getting distracted while trying to make this post. The theme at Burberry Prorsum Mens f/w 10 seemed to be rug-up or DIE! It's a look I love. Those shoes have grown boots. Those boots have grown fur! Burberry shoes have hit puberty.
Great use of knots in the Burberry Prorsum s/s 10 collection (especially those super-chunky ones.) The shape of the platform sole and heel are nicely angular which provides a contrast to the upper.
The Burberry f/w 09 collection of footwear - especially those boots - were so badass. I love the rubber sole that extends up the front, combined with the stripper proportions of the platform, and the buckle. So so so bad (mening good.)
The Shoe Edit exists to showcase shoes - mens and womens. Its focus is on design that catches my eye. It is my diary and scrapbook. My edit of footwear, which I hope you will enjoy.
